Delete Your Account & Data

You can request permanent deletion of your Duvello AI account and associated data at any time — whether or not you still have the app installed.

🗑️ Option 1 — Delete directly in the app

If you have the app installed, this is the fastest way:

Open Duvello AI
Go to Settings → Privacy Dashboard → Delete Account
Confirm the deletion — your account and data are removed immediately

✉️ Option 2 — Request deletion by email (no app required)

Send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account, and we'll process it manually.

Include in your email: the email address or account you signed up with, and the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

We will confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.

📋 What gets deleted

Data type	Status
Account profile (email, user ID)	Deleted
Bills, budgets, and financial records you entered	Deleted
Scanned bill images / OCR data	Deleted
App preferences and settings	Deleted
Purchase/transaction records	Retained — required for tax & legal compliance

Purchase records are retained only as required by law (e.g. financial record-keeping obligations) and are not used for any other purpose after account deletion.

⏱️ Processing time

In-app deletions are immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently deleted.
